Bryan Stickney, LCSW
I am a dedicated Atlanta therapist specializing in depression, anxiety, substance use disorder, and addiction treatment. My deep commitment to guiding others on their transformative journey toward healing and personal growth began with my own struggles with addiction and mental health.
During my recovery, I experienced the immense value of therapy, which led me to realize my own calling to make a direct and meaningful impact on people’s well-being. Driven by this purpose, I pursued and earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Kennesaw State University. I also hold an undergraduate business degree from The University of Alabama and spent several years in the corporate world prior to becoming a licensed therapist. Those formative years taught me invaluable skills in leadership and effective communication and provided me with a unique perspective on how to view human interactions. My comprehensive academic journey has equipped me with an understanding of the human psyche, the intricacies of mental health, and a diverse range of therapeutic approaches.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various clinical settings, from residential treatment at Skyland Trail to a lead therapist with Caron Treatment Centers, where I focused on addiction and dual diagnosis treatment. Most recently, I've been dedicated to private practice, where I've meticulously honed my clinical skills, leveraging Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
If you're seeking therapy for addiction, substance use disorders, depression, and/or anxiety in Atlanta, my expertise and personal experiences uniquely equip me to guide you toward the life you deserve. My mission is to empower you to navigate life's complexities, attain self-awareness, and cultivate the resilience necessary for a fulfilling life.
